Hyper-creative, master engineer, are two of the most accurate phrases one might use to describe “The UNIK”. A sound engineer, musician and DJ, The Unik has the whole arsenal necessary for producing cutting edge electronic music.

The French producer is very much influenced by rock rather than electronica and is capable of the most jubilant blasts as well as the most subtle (as seen by his custom guitar swirls at the close of the album Missing Link Drum Battant).

The massive Gazoline EP, released on The Unik's own label, Château Bruyant had a noticeable impact on the French Bass scene, the follow up "FILF EP", was extensively playlisted on BBC 1XTRA's daily dose of dubstep by Buygore records founder and scene legend, Borgore.

Based out of Provence The Unik is always creating new sounds and looking for bigger musical structures. A real perfectionist.
