Vibrant Xishuangbanna
Li Miaoran's "Vibrant Xishuangbanna" exhibition at the Wenlin Art Museum is a celebration of his artistic journey. Originally named "Li Qiang" and a student of Jiang Baolin, Li Miaoran has honed his craft through sketching, life experiences, and comprehension. His frequent travels to Xishuangbanna have fueled his creativity, inspiring him to capture the unique flora of the tropical border regions in his work, which spans calligraphy, painting, seal cutting, and porcelain making. The exhibition showcases 10 of his calligraphy works, including a visually striking 20-meter scroll. It also features nearly 20 paintings, both sketches and creative pieces, as well as several unique seal cutting and porcelain plate works. The exhibition, which is free to the public, will run until July 9th.
The exhibition at the museum operates under the following schedule: from Tuesday to Thursday, it is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. From Friday to Sunday, the hours extend from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays.
