    My girlfriend and I shared Christmas Dinner with Nuhi, Brian, and Jo at Mei Mei Cafe and I can tell you that they are "good" people.

    We were just there about a month ago for Christmas. The food at Mekong was the best I have had in a long time. Greg cares very much about the quality of his food and served an amazing turkey dinner!! English style breakfast was consistently good, and his Dai food was wonderful. He does employ local Daizu as cooks, and quality is above the standard Dai restaurant.

    I want to use my China Mobile (kunming) phone number in Hong Kong for a week during interviews. Does anyone know how to get this enabled? Just spoke with CM and they want 1500RMB as a deposit!!!! This sounds a little outrageous.

    Thought I would ask the GK community for other options.

    I know that this is a last minute post, but we are trying to find a place that sells nice women's suits here in KM.

    From the lack of places that sell suits, it would seem that there are no professional women in KM but I know that is not the case.

    Can someone point me to somewhere other than G2000, or OBEG? This is where we have found them so far.

    FYI, it would be a suit that a woman lawyer would wear.

    It's great to be able to order a 4 shot espresso and not have to explain how much it should cost. The last time I tried this at other Kunming coffee establishments, they wanted to charge me for two doubles.

    Glad to have starbucks here!!!

    Now if we could only learn how to queue :-)
