All of our apartments are located in very modern, safe and beautiful compounds with the best location in Kunming. Currently we have two locations, one is in SOHO Junyuan on Beijing Road and the other is in Shun Cheng in the city center. SOHO Junyuan is only 2 kilometers far from the exact center of Kunming, Green Lake and the university area, with lots of bus routes to different places of the city. Shun Cheng boasts the best location of Kunming, downstairs is the biggest shopping mall of Kunming, Shun Cheng Shopping Mall. Jin Ma Fang, Zheng Yi Fang, Jingxing Flower and Bird Market, Nanping Pedestrian Street, Kundu Night Market, Yunnan Provincial Museum and Yunnan Artistic Theatre are all in 5 minutes' walking distance.

    Most of our apartments in SOHO Junyuan are studios which covers around 50 square meters. Each studio has a spacious bedroom and living room together, an open kitchen, a western bathroom and a big balcony. All the studios are fully furnished, with 24 hours' access of wireless internet.

    No matter SOHO Jun Yuan or Shun Cheng, all of the apartments will have these equipments as follow, please request from us in case you can't find something you need listed here:

    Kunming is same as other big cities in the country, having big computer or IT Products Cities. In Kunming, traditionally we have an area named 园西路 Yuan Xi Lu, which covers these areas like Yi Er Yi Da Jie (一二一大街), Yuan Xi Lu (园西路), Yuan Tong Bei Lu (圆通北路) and Gu Lou Lu (鼓楼路). Regarding to the big shopping mall for IT Products, Bai Teng Digital City (佰腾数码广场)is highly recommended because it's huge and you will have lots of choices. For the brand of Lenovo, there are several leading distributors like Yunnan Ju Xing Dian Nao 云南巨星电脑, Yunnan Ke Xu Dian Nao 云南科旭电脑 and Yunnan Di Si Ruan Jian 云南迪思软件. You will find several stores of 云南巨星电脑 in Bai Teng Digital City 佰腾数码广场 or the whole Yuan Xi Lu 园西路 area. There headquarter and warehouse is on No. 70, Gu Lou Lu, 鼓楼路70号。But I think you can buy the laptop from any of there brand store will be ok. Yunnan Di Si Ruan Jian 云南迪思软件 is located in 金太阳电脑城 near Xiao Cai Yuan 小菜园。Normally you can get cheaper price there because their marketing channel or strategy is a little different as others, but the company is trustworthy as well. For post- sale service, nearly all the famous brand of IT Companies are very good, including HP, Sony, Lenovo, Acer and others. They will provide very good service for you whenever you have problem within the warrantee time even if you don't keep the invoice. When you buy the laptop, the sales person will tell you the address and exact contact for post-sale service. So actually it's doesn't matter where you buy the products if you buy it in a legal way, just the price matters a little bit because different distributors may have different prices slightly. It would be better if you have some local friend to help you buy this. Hope it will be helpful for you.

    Hello,

    If you have several people go to Shilin, it would be a better choice to hire a car because it's much more convenient even though it's more expensive.

    Instead of hiring a car, you can take bus or train there. But I recommend bus. There are lots of buses to Shilin every day. So you don't have to book the tickets first.

    How to go there:
    1. Start from around 08:30 am, taking a taxi to Kunming Eastern Bus Station (昆明东部汽车客运站), then buy the ticket of Kunming - Shilin 昆明 - 石林 and to to Shilin immediately. Normally you need to wait for around 15 - 30 minutes to catch the bus.

    2. Start from around 08:00 am, taking bus No. 22 at the bus stop of Yunnan Normal University (depends on where you stay, maybe you need to transfer bus), and get off at Kunming Eastern Bus Station (昆明东部汽车客运站)。Then buy the ticket and take bus to Shilin.

    You can call 10000 and tell them your broadband internet account and then they will tell you the phone number bunded with your internet. But normally they will check your full name and passport information before you get the number.

    Every day there are 3 direct buses to Yuan Yang. The earliest one is at 10:20 in the morning and the other two are in the late afternoon around 19:30. The ticket price is around RMB135. The road is not very good. You need to take the bus at Kunming Southern Bus Station (昆明南部汽车客运站)。Normally you book the bus ticket in one day's advance will be fine. Even you can go to the bus station directly and buy the ticket then leave for Yuan Yang immediately if you are not very nervious about the ticket because most Chinese buy bus tickets the same time when they leave, instead of booking in advance. If you arrive the bus station in 2 hours advance, normally there will be ticket for you.
