I have just seen this in the classifieds on Gokunming
It might seem odd, but try online.
Taobao, Alibaba, Chinatrader etc.
I assume motorbikes are similar to cars.
This is how it works for cars. The registration document is proof of owner ship. If the vehicle is stolen and the documents are in the vehicle, you have a problem.
You need to carry your driver's license, registration, and insurance documents with the vehicle at all times it is being driving. If someone else is driving they must carry these documents.
In the event of being stopped, if you cannot produce the documents the police can seize (impound) the vehicle until you produce the documents. There are also fines. A police offices can fine you up to 200rmb on the spot, but should give you a receipt.
Fines not on the spot can go up to 2000rmb.
All this information is included in the driving test questions.
@geekrider
There will be someone in your neighbourhood who operates a 'black' (unlicensed) taxi. There will always be some local who will do it for a fee.
I am not suggesting this as it is very naughty, and I cannot condone this illegal behaviour. I am sure that your gate security guards will be aware of someone who does this locally.

Great to know it is no longer dry.
Good review BTW
This has moved.
The cut flowers are about 700m east on Duonan Jie. The plants and trees are about 700 m west and follow Duocai Section.
A reasonable choice of lumber that has improved over time. Fancy hardwoods like walnut, and mahogany are in abundance. There are some plywood and rubber-wood boards available. There are also some kiln dried imported softwoods and merbao available. Some of the lumber is very green, so look for the kiln dried if you need stable timbers.
Echo everything said by others.
Breakfast great and the serve from 8am. Most other places say 9am and they still are not ready.
Sandwiches are cheap 22-32, and really packed full of filling. We got some sandwiches for a day out, the only mistake I made was ordering two, as this was too much. These are seriously good sangars, and they are wrapped in alu foil.
In fairness to Metro, they are a wholesalers, and not really a supermarket. Hence the need for a card, which can be got around.
They have improved in the year I have been away. They now carry a more consistent range of imported foodstuffs and they also seem to have sorted out the mported milk supply.
They have a wider range of electrical appliances now, there is a coice of more than one toast. There is also a better range of seasonal non foods, like clothes, shoes, garden furniture and camping gear.

Chinese student apologizes after Maryland graduation speech sparks firestorm
Posted byShe said nothing untoward about Kunming people. I would also guess that most of her attackers have never been to Kunming. Kunming air on many days of the year is on a par with Shanghai (I check this almost daily and have done for several years), and blue-green algae pollution of Dianchi lake has been a source of much local concern for many years.

Posted byWith AQI regularly in the 150 bracket, the Kunming air cannot be considered good quality. I have had some more serious problems with my asthma this year, and have on occasion used a mask.
