I'm in Vietnam right now and avocados are everywhere! Perhaps importing them to China is a problem of logistics, but they are really cheap, popular, and delicious here. You can get them most of the year (except for maybe winter). I guess it's one of those things the Chinese don't really have an appetite for (like coffee) which prevents it from being imported. Maybe there's a business opportunity there.
