It is very simple.

Climate change is happening and leads to global warming. The scientists agree on this. Since a lot of things are still unclear there are various scenarios and models to calculate these and not surprising they come to different predictions.
The scientist themselves are the least surprised about this. Weather prediction and climate prediction are not exact sciences.

The doubt is created by so called scientist who are:

1. Paid by interest groups that have an interest in fossil fuels.
2. Religiously misguide persons and groups who think it is all in the hands of God (Who created the world in 7 days).

These messages are supported by:

3. Groups with a conservative agenda (The British Conservatives, the Tea Party, Putin, Saudi Arabia and the like).
4. Conservative press (Murdoch and the like).
5. Ignoramuses who find it all a bit too complicated (The Vicar, Napoleon and the like).

Environmentalist don't understand it because they cannot look at the bigger picture, the bigger picture that millions of years ago there was something happening that looked like global warming, thus global warming is a completely natural phenomena, and who can fight nature?
The inconvenience truths that this time around it is caused by the massive amount of greenhouses gasses pumped into the atmosphere by humans he does not want to know because this makes him complicit. That is complicit as well to the war in Syria which was triggered by years of drought and the future climate conflicts in the making which will be of a bigger scale.

He rather believes in:
microwave radio frequencies and satellites cooking the atmosphere.

He probably believes as well in:
- Obama is an alien.
- Elvis is still alive.
- Vapour trails being chem trails.
- Spontaneous human combustion.
- The Holocaust never happened.
- If you play certain Beatle records backwards you can here satanic messages.
- Trump is going to make America great again.

Thus no sense arguing with him.
