Hello, I am plan on cycling to the western hills from Kunming on Saturday morning and then hiking the trails up the hills. I read about it on the website below. If you would like to join me, please let me know, it would be safer and more fun to go as a group. (I am open to taking the bus there if you prefer to skip the cycling part.)

I'm at a conference near Kunming which ends Friday morning June 8, and I'm not flying out of Kunming until Sunday afternoon the 9th. Is there an overnight trip I can take to see something outside the city on Fri/Sat?

(P.S. I also appreciate hotel recommendations, even if I end up staying in Kunming and just seeing the stone city and golden temple, I have no idea where to stay)
