What kind of jobs can foreigners find in Kunming besides teaching English?

I like the part in your posts where you don't reinforce the recurring widespread stereotype of Western men only coming to China or Asia because they can't find a job or are unable to get woman in the West.

Those little yellow minions from The Despicable Me movies are very popular here, nevet. Even if you are too short or ugly for traditional modelling/acting work, and disinclined to lower yourself to teaching, walking up and down with a sandwich board dressed as one of those would be a solid career option, I'm sure.

There USED to be student positions at the Confucius Institutes - they'd PAY you to study Chinese. I'd hoped by now that you'd used your GI bill to get the junior college AA degree and maybe even your 3-4 year college degree.

Handing out flyers for english schools. Helping Chinese companies for free for promised pay someday. Internships to do same with free learning about China. Non government organizations somethimes hire. There is consulting.
