there's a new chinese school on Xuefulu called Huayang international school.they just opened a new branch here in kunming and they were having iscounts untill last month. not sure about now tho! im very happy withtheir teaching method,small classes,good teachers,very supportive for visa and any other problem you might have.check the listing on gikunming for details!

Agree with the poster above. Huayang focuses much more on pleasing their students. Their teachers are clearly qualified and experienced, plus they have small classes and good management.

KCEL have two campuses. One in Xiaoximen and the other in the North. They can have a disappointing level of teaching despite advertizing a lot online and teachers are below average when it comes to knowledge and professionalism. Try to read reviews and forum comments of previous students who posted on this website to get an idea.

Another alternative to enrolling in a school is to consider a private Mandarin tutor.
