@Ocean, they still sell the original flavour pieces, but usually stop making them after 22:00-22:30. They are also included in a current half-price promotion.

@billdan While you are, as is typical, a bit over the top I have to agree. I saw tommann's rude reply on the Dreyer ice cream post and his obviously shallow attempt at an apology, since he is back to attacking people who do not eat the same foods he does every single meal. If people come to KM and are just looking for advice there is no need to be condescending and arrogant towards them. I do not like McDonald's or KFC, but if someone else wants a break from the routine what harm is there in that, or coming here to the forums looking for suggestions or assistance.

Well, one might argue that it is slightly unethical to strengthen the centralized power of large monolithic corporations by giving them money - it's not simply a question of the supposed 'quality' of the product, since money is undemocratic in principle, qualitatively neutral, and can be used to buy/control any thing, as well as most people.

On the other hand, thinking too carefully in this manner will eventually make it impossible for one to breathe, so that it's virtually impossible to live without guilt, maintain a fantasy of ethical behaviour, and think clearly at the same time...I think I wrote somewhere that I respect both dogs and pigs, who are similarly intelligent and anyway feel pain; and love to eat bacon. I don't eat dogs. Sentimental tripe, of course, but perhaps bacon-lovers should slaughter their own pigs, & dog-eaters their own dogs. Some vegetarians and some Buddhists have much to tell us.

Was the reference to chili sauce tobasco sauce? Why not just bring your own if it's such a trouble?
