Just returned from Guilin with about a week's supply of wholemeal bread! Wondering if it's available here anywhere? Tried Wicker Basket, Metro and Carrefour, but no luck.

Any ideas? Or had we better get used to white?!

Try 'Wicker Basket' two minutes walk from Metro supermarket (just off north Beijing Lu). They have a bakery and last time I looked there was a whole range of 'real' bread, bagels.

Sorry, pressed submit instead of delete after reading you already tried Wicker. But I'm convinced I've bought some there in the past.
