Notary in Kunming?

Hey I need to have a document notarized, does someone know of a notary currently in KM that can notarize a document for use in the U.S.? I looked through the forums but all of the results are from several years ago. Thanks!

There's one near the Green Lake. Don't know the

address. It's near the 119 bus stop near Green Lake.

This one from 6 years ago was still valid last year:

However, notary alone is not sufficient to make official documents useful in USA - for that, you need to visit Foreign Affairs Office in Kunming (forgot adddress), and then have it sent to Beijing first to China's Foreign Ministry and then to US consulate for additional legalizations.

The Foreign Affairs office can do these two steps for you, but in our case one document got lost between China's Foreign Ministry and my country's consulate, and neither accepted responsibility. I ended up flying there myself to do it.

Requirements for less than official documents naturally depend on what the recipient entity is ready to accept.
