A few years ago a few guys were trying to put together a makers space. Does anyone know if this happened?

What is a maker space?

It is a kind of creativity workshop. A maker space is a public access workshop area where people can make things, and share tools and knowledge. But it could be any shared space where creatives can make stuff.
