I seem to remember that, as one walks into the main entrance of Guandu Old Town, on the right is a lovely open courtyard/garden restaurant, that brews their own beer. Does anyone happen to know if this restaurant still exists? Thank you.

It's still there, but has been taken over by McDonald's, so no beer any more, but the food is much better ;)
Very funny Haali. Anyone know?
If anyone cares, it still exists, but no longer brews its own beer, and the food is not as good. Perhaps it is under new ownership.
But beer is a symbol of cultural colonization by the west. How snobby of you to only drink beer when there are indigenous baijiu a plenty. Why do people stay in China if all they drink is beer....oh, the humanity...
oh my god I love that place. Their garlic potatoes are truly the best.
