My wife just learned of the latest scam to be discovered in Kunming. Apparently our local farmers are mixing formaldehyde with the water they use on the vegetables so they will "look fresh" at the markets.

BTW, for those of you who like to eat pigs ears, they are being made from plastic and sold as real.

Isn't formaldehyde kinda smelly? Like...shouldn't we notice?

that's wonderful. we can conduct science experiments in our kitchens. light a match to the vegetables and see if causes an explosion.
