Just chasing some info... I have just gained a TESOL certification and after much searching on the net, I'm attracted to teaching English in Kunming. I am a female Australian, native English speaker. I'm a relative newbie to teaching English but I have taught music (specialisation Drums) at schools and institutions in Australia. I am a graduate from the "WA Conservatorium of Music". I was wondering where you would recommend looking for a teaching job that provides good working conditions (friendly people, apartment, good salary, reasonable hours all the normal stuff...(If it is out there, that is :-)) I guess for job security and assured income I need to organise my job before arriving...or is it better to do things differently in Kunming ???
In general, what are your suggestions!
