Since I am moving to a place only for myself, and I won't have internet, I have to deal with China telecom by myself.
Question: do you have to be chinese? So, in other words, do I have to ask and ask again to my landlord?
I do hope it's quite easy.

Hello to everybody!
If everything will go just fine, I am coming to Kunming around the 15th of April and I will stay there probably till September.
Probably I am going to ask stupid questions... anyway I will be really glad if you give me some answeres! (I can pay you something once in KM!).
So, the first question is:
- can I join a chinese course in the middle of April? I mean, some universities are quite strict about that. You pay the semester and the courses begin in September...
I was thinking about Yunnan University. It seems pretty good.
- then, what about the VISA? Should I get a tourist one and then changed it once in KM? Do you know what I need in order to get the student one?
- does anybody has a nice hostel to suggest for the first week? :)
