We currently both work part time with wages just above minimum wage. So not a fantastic cost for living in the uk. We currently rarely eat out and no vacations. So I don’t think that would be an issue. We are also looking into what type of role my partner could do.

How family friendly are employers in Kunming.

There is very little information available regarding costs.

Would a 8,000 to 10,000 be enough to support a family in Kunming as I have seen living cost charts but wanting to gather all information before we commit properly to it.

Me and my partner are looking at moving to Kunming. We have a 7 year old and nearly 2 year old. There is very little information about the costs or options when it comes to school.

I am going to teach English as a foreign language and have seen salaries in the region of 8-10,000 yuan per month. Is this enough to realistically pay for education for 2 children and also live on?
