Climbing Away: Liming
Posted bySuch a well written article, I wish I could write like that. Also thanks for the link at the bottom to my site: www.junshanclimber.com where the above mentioned liming climbing guide can currently be brought.
Its interesting your prospective, visiting this place for the first time feeling that its forever unchanged and off the tourist trail. Having visited and first started cleaning cracks in Liming in 2010, I have seen a huge amount of development, many more tourists, new hotels, hole valleys bulldozed down for new roads and cable cars. A 5 star hotel built on the Plateau at 3000m. Also there have been lots of sandstone boulders quarried for building of the many new houses and the plan is to fill the whole valley with new buildings over the next 5 to 10 years. Anyway, for now at least its still quite beautiful and I'm glad you enjoyed your time there.
