"Delighted" is not exactly the word I would use to describe the reaction. Perhaps story hour just isn't a thing...they have something monthly that's Chinese language that they suggested I could pop in and add to, which I will gladly do. But for a weekly thing, Alex's boss wants me to do a July-August (school break) reading thing with Grade 1 kids (because younger kids don't understand English...) and submit detailed plans.
When I email, I'll make it clear that what I'm offering is a toddler-oriented story and song. Reading and singing is important for the tiny set too!

If it doesn't happen at the library, I'd be thrilled to meet up with other parents and do the same thing, though I expect the parents on here read and sing to their children regularly as it is :)

Also, who's the comedian who donated a copy of "Go the Fuck to Sleep"? I am the spoilsport who let them know it should be filed in humor, and is not actually a children's book :)

Some websites would disagree. But no, I didn't donate that one. I will have the Samuel L Jackson audio version CD shipped to them as a replacement though :)
