Hello all,

We are trying to plan travel to Kunming at the end of April/beginning of May. I am confused about the holidays though.

It looks like everything is closed May 1 and 2 for the May Day holiday. But what about May 5th? I read that it's "Youth Day", but are banks, government offices, etc. closed that day as well?

well, youth day is may 4th. and no holidays for everyone. just as normal. banks in china only closed on the first day of Chinese new year. government closed on May 1, 2 and 3.
