I really want to play football in Kunming but any pitch I've turned up at has been booked for middle aged men or if not booked I'm thrown off after playing ten minutes.

Where the hell can I just rock up and have a kickabout? organised or spontaneous 'jumpers for goalposts' I don't mind

As for joining in random games, just go to any pitch where games are being played. Look for a team short on players and ask if you can join them.

If you want to join more of a formal team? Kunming F.C. is always in search of new expat players for 11v11 matches on weekends. Girls are also welcome. This expat team has been in Kunming for about 15 years now. We play in 3 different leagues throughout the year, and have friendly matches in the meantime.
