Friday: Live rock at Moondog
Ian and Joost celebrate their birthdays at Moondog on Friday with a live rock show. All beers will be discounted by 20 percent. The party starts at 8pm.

Friday: Metal concert at Laowo
Laowo Bar will host Kunming-based metal band Parasitic Eve (寄生前夜) and Guiyang-based metal band Collect (集) on Friday night. Entry to the 9pm show is 30 yuan.

Friday: DJ Liman at Skyhouse Uprock
Electronica DJ Liman plays Skyhouse Uprock on Friday. He's one of Beijing's hottest DJs. Entry to the 10pm event is 30 yuan.

Friday: The Rednecks and Ska band The Trouble at Camel Bar
The Trouble (热超波) has for some time been a favorite in Chengdu's live music scene. They mix a great stage presence with hard-hitting original ska music, plus an occasional cover of a favorite such as The Specials' hit Ghost Town. The Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project is widely considered to be Kunming's best Québécois-Irish bluegrass band. The show is free and starts at 10pm at Camel Bar's brand new location on Jinbi Lu.

Saturday: Latin night at The Hump Bar
The Latin night at The Hump Bar starts at 9pm Saturday and entry is free.

Sunday: Brunch at Lazy Bones
Lazy Bones Restaurant will have the usual Sunday brunch goodies, including breakfasts, pancakes, Italian specials and DIY bloody marys. The brunch runs from noon to 5pm.

Sunday: Roast meal at Slice of Heaven
