My wife I are coming to Kunming on buisness for 6 months and are looking for furnished appartments to stay in. My relocation company has suggested Kunming IC Holiday Shuncheng serviced apartments (Wuhua Shun Yan Helu). Does anyone know if this is a nice, safe place, in a close proximity to food, groceries, and shopping? Any other suggestions? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I will arriving in Kunming in a few weeks and would like to know where the best workout/lifting facilities are. I am an avid weightlifter and would like to go to the best gym Kunming has to offer. Please advise on your experience.
It seems that apartments will be difficult to find being that I am only staying for 6 months.
I have been looking into hotels and would like to hear opinions on what hotels you all recommend. I have been reading about the Grand park hotel, the holiday inn city center and the Crown Plaza hotels. I am wondering what hotels you think have the best location in the city and what your best hotels are. My price range will change being that I am not able to stay in an apartment so dont include cost in the consideration.

I have another question: What is a good amount to budget for food, transport, entertainment. I know that this will vary depending on taste however, I would like to get a feel for how much you all spend/ budget. If I have 5000 CNY a month in addition to a housing budget, will this be enough to live comfortably?
