Wenchang Palace is the largest temple-park in Lijiang Old Town. Enshrining the gods of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, Wenchang Palace used to be the place for local grand sacrificial activities. Visitors here can view the whole scenery of Lijiang Old Town.

The palace is on lion hill, west of the old town. The bus can get there at a very low price of 2 yuan. Tickets are free and the palace is open daily from 8 am to 6 pm.
