Lion Hill (also called Lion Mountain or Lion Rock) is located in the center of Lijiang Old Town. The Lion Rock is not high, but you can overlook the entire Old Town of Lijiang from the mountain. The vegetation on the mountain is lush and the air is fresh. There is also the Wangu Tower on the top of the mountain, and many guesthouses and lookout points are dotted across paths on the hill.
