i'm looking for a place to fax and scan documents (about 30-40 pages, nothing too much). any ideas?

If you're close to a university - you can use the local print shops. If you have a digital camera with good resolution - you can just take a picture of your docs (spy style) and email them instead (higher quality than faxing AND you get color...and email is free). If the files turn out to be rather large - you can upload them to a filesharing site (google it) and just send the links for the other party to download.

Kunming has some nice print and copy stores a la kinkos - usually outside the major gates to most universities.
