This autumn the 'City of Eternal Spring' has been unseasonably cold - a trend that local meteorologists say will extend to the winter, which they say will be colder than the last several winters, according to a Dushi Shibao report.
"This year there's no chance that Kunmingers will enjoy a warm winter like last year," said an unnamed meteorologist cited in the story. "This winter is forecast to be substantially colder than last winter!"
This month the temperature has averaged 10 degrees Celsius (50 Fahrenheit), or approximately two degrees cooler than the last few Octobers.© Copyright 2005-2020 GoKunming.com all rights reserved. This material may not be republished, rewritten or redistributed without permission.
