Ridiculous topics to some perhaps, but for many of use food and entertainments are important. As for venting, we all need to do it occasionally, even if it is only to complain about others' ridiculous topics ;-)
The Taco Bell in Shanghai was in a very poor location. Even though it was opposite Peoples Square metro stations, it was on the side of the road that few people walk on and was tucked back behind trees. I had walked past it for a year before I even realised it was there.
There was a shopping mall on an adjacent street that also failed.
It is also near the only KFC I have ever seen fail; anywhere, let alone China.
Location, location, location.
A couple of things spring to mind.
Singles site would not change the moderation, you would still be unappy.
A separate site or area would need a lot of managing.
These sites are often magnets for spam and porn links.
Magnets for carpet baggers, agents, agencies, etc.
A specific site for this mayh leave GoK more liable if there are 'problems'. Small ads have the same risks, but people tend to be less trusting and more careful.
Moderation is easier on a forum.
I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Nan Ya (South Asia Mall) Carrefour. It is with the vinegar and oils on the import section. Hard to see as there was only one facing with most of the bottles at the back. 2nd or 3rd shelf up from the floor.

The cut flowers are about 700m east on Duonan Jie. The plants and trees are about 700 m west and follow Duocai Section.
A reasonable choice of lumber that has improved over time. Fancy hardwoods like walnut, and mahogany are in abundance. There are some plywood and rubber-wood boards available. There are also some kiln dried imported softwoods and merbao available. Some of the lumber is very green, so look for the kiln dried if you need stable timbers.

Breakfast great and the serve from 8am. Most other places say 9am and they still are not ready.
Sandwiches are cheap 22-32, and really packed full of filling. We got some sandwiches for a day out, the only mistake I made was ordering two, as this was too much. These are seriously good sangars, and they are wrapped in alu foil.
In fairness to Metro, they are a wholesalers, and not really a supermarket. Hence the need for a card, which can be got around.
They have improved in the year I have been away. They now carry a more consistent range of imported foodstuffs and they also seem to have sorted out the mported milk supply.
They have a wider range of electrical appliances now, there is a coice of more than one toast. There is also a better range of seasonal non foods, like clothes, shoes, garden furniture and camping gear.
