Just a novice at this. But I'm thinking of sending out some video podcasts via Itunes and they say I need a web address or web site before I can upload the podcast. Are there any websites in China set up to do this? And how do you access them?
I got married to a foreign women and the immigration department wanted $50,000 bail, in case she fled once she set foot in America. A friend of mine who was in the process of marrying a man from Pakistan at the same time I was going through this process of getting married warned me this was going to happen. Nevertheless, it created great unhappiness with my parents who refused to pay the fee. If a broker could have gotten this straightened out, it would have been worth the time and money.
Has anybody had to register with the www.safea.gov.cn web site. My school told me it was for to help me list my resume with schools around China but there seems to be other aspects of it that do not seem to have anything to do with posting a resume. It has to do with State Admission of Foreign Expert Affairs. Does anybody know anything about this government organization?

I just moved to Wen Shan. Clean air, nice people, nice weather. I think they are nice places to live in Yunnan outside of Kunming. I just depends on what you want. I got tired of the bigness of Kunming and wanted a change of pace.

Hiking in Lijiang: Dry River Valley
发布者I've taken this path, well worth checking out if you go to Lijiang. It's a long walk to the trailhead, or use a 4 wheel drive to get there. But do it if you have the chance, everybody likes the spiritual quality of the mountains.
Allez! The Tour de France comes to Yunnan
发布者115 kilometers is a bit short, usually stages for the Tour de France run around 180 to 200 kilometers. But it would be worthwhile (expense-wise) to have a chance to ride a bike around Yuxi without being hassled by traffic, which is by far the most unpleasant part of riding a bike.
