One of the things i dont like in KM now is the dust/dirt from the crazy construction going on everywhere and the big soul-less apartment compounds... Better living, european/american style for the price of giving away chinese culture.

The posters above are right, better re-register after you come back. I also got a call from the PSB last week, why i did not came register... altough i did. They just forgot to change the date on the registration (they all love copy-paste), so they thought i did not came to re-register with my new visa. Tells me they check every once in a while...

Through torrents, sure. But the use of VPN connection doesn't bring back the content which was taken down from chinese streaming sites... ;)
