Total newbie question, but I'm wondering what the prime time of year is to be applying for work teaching English at Chinese universities?
I'm doggedly trying to find a teaching position at a Kunming university, but unsure of when the month is to be doing so. Thanks!
Planning a move to Kunming next year and solely interested in teaching English at university.
I hear hiring starts in spring, but seeing what I can dig up now. Any leads/contacts on that sort of teaching or tips on how to get it?
Me? Eight years experience in training centers (Japan, Vietnam, US) plus B.A. (anthropology) and CELTA, DELTA, TEFL.

I was there in July and have gone several other times over the past few years.
Am American - no issues, ever. Chill as can be. Always best to pay visa fee in USD and bring a PP photo, that's it. 30-day visa, simple.
I'm sniffing around for university work, teaching English in Kunming.
