Total newbie question, but I'm wondering what the prime time of year is to be applying for work teaching English at Chinese universities?

I'm doggedly trying to find a teaching position at a Kunming university, but unsure of when the month is to be doing so. Thanks!

They hire when they hire though, when you see an add, apply. Which means you could even find a university job in an off month. If you're planning on randomly asking some universities if they need a teacher, then I don't think you'll get very far.
