I have a small collection of English books that I want to get rid of quickly and I am wondering if there are any cafes or places that buy second hand books. I don't really want to use the classified section here because I want to sell them in one go.
I figure that the restaurants that sell books (slice, Prague...ect.) must get them from somewhere
any advice?
Hey, we would love to have you guys join. we play pick up on wednesdays and sundays from 4:30pm till dark. We play at the Tourism college, which is North-ish on longquan and the 2nd ring road. The gate to the univeristy is right next to the 上马村 bus stop (lines 84,74,9 et al.)

Trivia is back!
It should be pretty much the same as it was at Chapter One (8pm every other Thursday, teams of 5), but now it is at muyu where they will still be giving out beer to the winners and there will be a speaker system to make the questions easier to hear.
Does anyone have any feedback on trivia night? any ideas on how to make it better?

We play Ulitmate frisbee twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays in the afternoon 4:30/5pm till dark at the tourism college on longquan rd. Ultimate is a running sport, but beer is also an important feature.

I can't speak to the education quality of the school but:
The soccer/football/frisbee field has grass and is fairly well maintained
Getting here on the 84 bus is a snap (from Yunda, Xiaoximen), the gate is right accross the street from the 上马村 bus stop.
My room was part of a suite with polite neighbors in the other rooms. High above the walking mall of Wangfujing, the place is elegant, clean and the location cannot be beat if you are coming to Kunming for travel or business. It was great to have a living room and kitchen and all the amenities of an apartment and the manager speaks English quite-well and was really helpful. The whole experience made me felt like I was home in Kunming, not just traveling. This place is a little more expensive than a hotel, but you get a lot more.

发布者This is big news if you are planning an event. For the ultimate frisbee tournament, this would mean that we could draw folks living in HK, lao, vietnam to play for the weekend. As it stands if people in Hanoi want to particpate is means paying a pretty hefty visa fee.

发布者the golf discs will not be on sale, ad they were not sent. we will still have a course, and pleny of ultimate discs will be given away.

发布者You do not need to register for disc golf, the idea is that most folks will play when their ultimate games are done. The play is mapped out, but will be pretty imformal (with prizes of course). The discs will be on sale throughout the days, but Yikun is not sending a rep.
