Someone mentioned it's desert like up there. Don't know exactly where you're located, but how about:
Bar Without Name
The Oasis (yes, some people consider alcohol a better thing than water when finding an oasis in a desert).
Lucky Strike
Gold Strike (Gold is always good in Chinese society)
Fanfare (music)
Single(s)hot
Desert Fox
The Burrow
The Shire
Hobbit Town
The Countdown (to another round of drinks)
Planet Arrakis (Dune)
Planet Earth
E.T.'s Home
Liquorland
Finding Liquorland (derived from the book and movie "Finding Neverland")
Going to the Bar
My Bar (if someone says "I'm going to my bar" then everyone (hopefully) knows which one it is).
My 2nd Home
:)
Here's a couple more:
Alive and Drinking
Another day of Happiness
Gam Bei
Gam Bei Style
One for you - One for me
The Sink Hole
Head First (although some might associate that with a different kind of bar / club)
Casbah
(As in Rock the Casbah by The Clash.)
Probably easy for Chinese to pronounce too.
In good English tradition and further inspired by The World's End, may I recommend "The Famous Cock"?
The best name I have ever seen was in Guilin and it was The Meiyou (没有)Cafe
There's a bar or restaurant somewhere. Don't remember the place.
It's called "Somewhere Else" and I believe it's run by a Dutch couple.
Anyways, how about the following names:
You're Welcome :)
My cup of Coffee
Give me that! (bottle)
The Barstool
My Pleasure
The Lighthouse
The Playground
Tapenade
The Kingdom
Upside Down
Safe Haven
The Stickup
The Funnel
The Chinese Standoff
The Quenching (Quench thy thirst)
I did see an opening event for a new bar, last night. The name of the bar is a overtly the name certain kind of weed.
A cool name, but I can't help thinking that the name may attract attention from people they don't want interfering in the business. A euphamism may be better if one wants to make references to the illicit. Just a thought.
