@tigertiger. Maybe you should do some prelim research before dismissing and slandering someone by associating him with human sludge like Drudge. If you dislike those two uk sources you can find the same reporting in other more reputable sources with Google and vpn. Those were the first two to pull up in bing and not require a vpn for easier access. Wiki is a coin toss as to needing a vpn or not.

Add. The is a PBS Nova doc that goes into even more detail with additional outside aviation experts along with their investigation and analysis of the probe.
Yes, I read all that. Forget the Mail and Express as unreliable sources. The Daily Wail, ffs.
The wiki ling still does not add up to the sensationalised/slanderous
version implied by your previous post. Hence the Drudge Report comment.

Another China Eastern incident. This one on the Paris to Kunming run:
Not wearing seat belts by the sound of it. No surprises there then.
Yeah, saw that accident post. Passenger's fault...
Let’s put things in perspective.
In the last couple of months both KLM and Aeroflot had in-flight turbulence encounters with wounded passengers.
KLM and Aeroflot are two of the oldest airlines in the world.
Like the China Eastern case these were what is called "Clear Air Turbulence". There are no detection methods as yet for this and can happen to any airline.
@Alex.
My Canadian friend who flies for Guangxi Airlines has to report to a designated hotel the night before any flight. He's not allowed to leave or drink there. He's breathalysed on his way into work, even on non-flying training or marketing days. There are not GA rules, They come from CAC. It's standard procedure.
Auto pilot kicks in at 470ft. To disable it requires assistance from the ground. If it fails, a reboot normally solves the problem, done by the First Officer while the Captain flies the plane. These instances are constantly reviewed and training for just that is intense.
In China at least, no pilot is pissed in the seat while the plane flies itself.
pilots do not need ground to "disable" George, on board computer is always in "3 axis command" even piloting CWS. :-) there are little escape for human.
few pilots are pissed in the seat anywhere. sure sure sure. :-) in china, the record of pilot log book is something you have to worry tho.
nothing to do with China Eastern this time. :-)
it is three coins not in the fountain story. hahhahahahha
