This is where I went...

(And it's about 2 minutes from Subway, the restaurant) ☺

Thanks a lot. I will pass this on. There are many agencies that provide this service but I was looking for one that someone had recently used and received satisfactory service. Thanks again.
How did she find out her visa was not legit?
@HF... they were really helpful and friendly and fast.
the psb told her it was not legit, before they showed her the exit.
Has anyone done a Shenzhen border crossing to HK? Wondering how long I need to stay in HK... can I exit and enter the same day?
There is no problem exiting China, either via Shenzhen or Zhuhai, for a day visit to HK or Macau.
So to answer you, yes. You can exit China and re-enter the same day on a normal residence permit.
Not sure of the rules about periodic exits mandated by some visa types. This is an odd question for a holder of a 10 year visa as the terms and requirements should be clear.
Are terms and requirements ever really clear in China? The requirement is to leave China every 60 days. This is my first time and I'm trying to just do a quick exit and entry.
I did a crossing from Shenzhen a bit less than 2 years ago.
The Luohu crossing is the busiest crossing. There's less traffic at the Futian Checkpoint.
Whichever you choose - don't go in rush hour. I thought it would be good to go at 9:00 a.m., but the locals all go across to buy stuff in HK for their shops. It took an hour (at the less busy Futian) to clear immigration on the way out. When I returned a few hours later it was much faster.
On presenting my docs at the local police station the girl there was confused about the fact that I exited and entered on the same day. She had to phone somewhere to see if it was allowed. It was.
Same day through sz counts as an entry exit. I've just gone on the train ride to sheung shui (first stop) and back without even shopping, so like just twenty minutes total in HK and it was fine. I think you need to cross around 10pm latest as last trains are 11pm or so. Futian crossing as bad as luohu now. There is a 24hour crossing called HuangGang, but it's not reachable by metro. If you can find a cheap fare, just fly hkexpress there and back. Probably some time to do shopping near airport at city gate outlets.
OK...to make a mafan even worse. My ten year visa is in my old passport and it's going to expire in May. Do I need a "Link letter" to connect my old and new passport together? I received different answers from the passport agency in the states than Chengdu.
