All ham aside, what is the roast beef sandwich scene like in Kunming?

Nonexistent. There is not one single place to get a roast beef sandwich and don't believe anybody here who say there is. I know some places in Beijing if you plan on visiting there. You can get a meaty Philly Roast Beef or a Rueben sandwich on real rye bread and with real corned beef brisket. Here? No where, and the places run by foreigners are the most expensive and and with the worst western food.

Shame. I am in Beijing now and the food scene is great. I am beginning to fear spicy rice noodles in sewer oil!
