Two very beautiful places. If you haven't been - - make sure you go. Whether you fly or drive up fm Chengdu - - well worth the trip.

Beautiful indeed - but veeery expensive, especially in Sept. and October. Hotels are all overpriced to say the least. Try to stay overnight in the park - even though officially not allowed you will find accommodation in the village inside the park.

Hotels - - expensive - - yes. But, we had hired a driver at the airport and he went in to negotiate at the hotel. Listed (rack rate) was RMB 1,200 - - he got it for us at RMB 200. The money he saved us at the hotel more than made up for his fee. But whatever the cost - - it's worth it!
