For tofu it is simple. If the turns your stomach don't eat it.
If you are feeling weak and it is not a virus, it might be a parasite. Many of which the body fights off after a week. Usually something in the water.

All these problems. Yes you are right it is ridiculous that two of the worlds richest nations have the highest levels of student debt, decaying infrastructure, and have working homeless people. If only rich people paid more taxes and corporations paid their proper taxes, that would be one possible solution.
Thatcher thought that putting business people in charge of public bodies would work. Lots of QUANGOs created, and the failings continued. I think the lesson still to be learned is that public institutions cannot be run as profit centres, and the money has to come from somewhere; and that means taxation.
My selfish self does not want to pay taxes, nobody does, but taxes are a necessary evil.
Look into the tea leaves for an answer on that one.
Maybe I can get the ball rolling.
Fried tofu.
Take a slab of the wet white tofu. Slice about 6-10 mm (1/4-3/8") thick. About 25 mm (1") wide by 50 mm (2") long, depends on the size of you tofu block.
Fry on a low-med heat in a lightly oiled almost dry pan until golden, flip occasionally. Remember, tofu is already cooked, you are just heating through, browning and crisping the sides.
We use one of those cheap 'cake makers', that look like a round sandwich grill with flat/smooth plates.
After cooking you can sprinkle with a little salt.
I am a meat eater, but I enjoy tofu this way.

A reasonable choice of lumber that has improved over time. Fancy hardwoods like walnut, and mahogany are in abundance. There are some plywood and rubber-wood boards available. There are also some kiln dried imported softwoods and merbao available. Some of the lumber is very green, so look for the kiln dried if you need stable timbers.
Echo everything said by others.
Breakfast great and the serve from 8am. Most other places say 9am and they still are not ready.
Sandwiches are cheap 22-32, and really packed full of filling. We got some sandwiches for a day out, the only mistake I made was ordering two, as this was too much. These are seriously good sangars, and they are wrapped in alu foil.
In fairness to Metro, they are a wholesalers, and not really a supermarket. Hence the need for a card, which can be got around.
They have improved in the year I have been away. They now carry a more consistent range of imported foodstuffs and they also seem to have sorted out the mported milk supply.
They have a wider range of electrical appliances now, there is a coice of more than one toast. There is also a better range of seasonal non foods, like clothes, shoes, garden furniture and camping gear.

发布者I would guess that large infrastructure projects may be treated as state secrets. Sites may not be off limits (to Chinese nationals), but rather like collecting phone numbers/addresses, or using a GPS to map routes, it could get non-nationals into trouble.
