The news I heard (on youtube) were that even though I a bachelor degree from England, have IELTS, just doing my TEFL it still not doesn't apply as I am purely a non native speaker. However, I was assured by CEAIE which is a government affiliated body that I will be ok in Yunnan, so I hope I will.

I was just wondering if anybody works around teaching English in Yunnan. I have heard that there are apparently new rules for being able to teach English in China as a non native speaker. I was just allocated a job in Yuxi but have recently seen some people saying that I won't be able to get working Z visa as the law has changed. Any advice where to get info would be much appreciated.
