You are much better finding a job and getting a working visa before coming to China, if that is your intention for coming here.

The Visa processing in HongKong is not advisable and recently has been more complicated.

Working without a working visa anywhere in the world is possible, China is no different. I know Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen have regular crack downs on people working as teachers without correct paper work.

Kunming has 4 Universities that offer Chinese Language programs for foreigners. I am hoping to move to Kunming to study, starting September. Which University and program do you suggest?

Kunming University of Science and Technology (KMUST)
Yunnan Normal University (YNNU)
Yunnan University (YNU)
Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YNUFE)

There's seems to be very limited information available. Please help me!
