I would also add that the team has traveled together to Hong Kong, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Beijing in past years to play in tournaments. It's added fun and great exposure for new players!
Scrimmages are 5 on 5 games.
They rent out skates of a wide range of sizes. Unless you have extra large feet, they should have your size.
Age range of players 20-40. A couple of well trained teenagers are also in the mix.

A combined 22 years in Canada, KM, and Hong Kong.
For beginners, trying it out once would be - rent a pair of skates at the rink and use one of our old hockey sticks (or buy your own) to skate around with the puck. No game action yet so no need for full set of equipment at the beginning.
@redjon77 @Magnifico just come and try it out once. Won't disappoint. I've been playing for 22 years now. Once you get the hang of it, you'd never want to stop. It's that much fun.
