I have been there. It's a good place to take hot spring. if you all stay in Hu Quan Hotel(湖泉酒店) it'd be a enjoyable experience. two restaurants are place to try, Hong He Shi Fu(红河食府), Mi le Story(弥勒故事)

If you were I you'd trust its ads and let your family try its the worst pizza and milk in Kunming. I saw too much ads pf it so I recommended it to my wife. She ordered a fruit pizza and got a a piece of COLD paste lying a slice of FRESH fruit. And my wife ordered a glass of fresh milk to my son, finally she were told it's worthy RMB20 because it's imported.
