I have never seen an "A" and "B" outnumbers "C" by about 4 to 1 around here.

Ahh, I remember that KFC yankee00 said had an A. They served me a raw chicken nugget. Crispy outside, but nice and pink inside. Maybe this was before they got the A, because I was too busy throwing up in their sink to notice what ranking was on their sign at the time.
Next time you get invited to a friends wedding in a fancy hotels restaurant, check there. Heaps of them have "A" rating (clearly obtained through Guanxi or possibly blackmailing an official who has been meeting up with his third wheel at the hotel).
Greenland has an A, saw it last time I went to a wedding there.
@ blobbles We clearly do not mix in the same circles Sir :)
How can a society evolve into a comfortable and nourishing enviroment with such behavior being rampant in all levels and all it's sectors?
why not do nothing? is this the result of years of tyrany on a society? or is it the logic of people?

so if 5 star hotel restaurants don't deserve an A, then who does? this thread is bs. how the bleep do you know who has guangxi?
My post was half joking, I got a look inside a different hotels kitchen who had an A rating. Needless to say it was anything but clean (cockroaches, dirty surfaces, disgusting floor, food left to rot in corners etc). Although the preparation surfaces and cooking locations were quite clean, they were right next to disgustingly dirty spots. So yeah, I suggest some level of guanxi going on.
I wonder how much Burger King bought their rating for.
Suggest people pay little or no attention to ABC ratings outside of, perhaps, France - anyway, it's interesting to learn, from this forum, that there is, in fact, such a widespread system in Kunming, as I've never bothered to look for ABCs, although I suppose they're buried somewhere in the collections of plaques from organizations I've not heard of that decorate the walls of many establishments.
