The Golden Dragon Bridge in Lijiang is an old bridge from the Qing Dynasty that was part of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. It is located 50 km SE of Lijiang Old Town. The bridge sits on the Jin Sha River directly between GuCheng District in Lijiang and YongSheng County in Lijiang.
If anyone is interested in visiting I have some very good directions and pictures of landmarks as well as the phone number of a local who can take you there and back for 100 RMB. The bridge and the roads leading to it are NOT clearly marked so it is a bit difficult to find.
For those visiting Bai Sha (murals) Village or Yuhu Village (Joseph Rock), there is no need to pay a taxi 50 RMB or 100 RMB respectively. You can take Bus #6 to Bai Sha for 1 RMB and Bus # 17 to Yuhu Village for 1 RMB. Bus # 6 also goes to other scenic spots such as Jade Water Village, Dongba Kingdom and Yu Feng Monastery.
