Hi everyone,

I came across a blog post from a couple of years back (blog.wendywutours.co.uk/shopping-and-coffee-tasting-in-kunming.htm) that refers to a Coffee Market where you are given a small tasting cup, and can sample/purchase many different types of Yunnan coffee.

They state its behind the flower market (I assume the market on Wuyi Road) but I can't find it anywhere - I've asked relatives that live here and they're equally in the dark.

Can anyone shed some light on it?

maybe it was the Dounan flower market in Chenggong

Several of the markets that were there a few years ago have relocated or just ceased to exist. In several cases the whole neighborhood has been redeveloped, and businesses and markets disappeared.
