I'm pretty sure they meant 4k+. One is a furnished penthouse and the other is probably a villa in a Dianchi compound.

I'm just off after very long house hunting in Kunming - the other very popular scam here is to post attractive advertisment with very attractive apartment and then it appears that "THAT" apartment is not existing, it's just a trap to get you to call to a certain agent. Probably you will see some good and bad apartments with him/her, but you will never see that "ONE", that you would like to see (I mean from the add).

@Alex, yes in all seriousness, those are still reasonable prices for a fully furnished villa and penthouse of that size and in those areas. You'd be extremely lucky to find a new studio around that price inside the 3rd ring road in Bj, sh or gz
