Game: Spot the Fake Restaurant Reviews

With the numerous positive reviews that were posted quickly after, some businesses would have wished they had received zero star reviews

Thanks for that, abcdabcd! I couldn't stop laughing for a few minutes after I read that ridiculous review you're talking about! Paraphrase: "The Mexican food here looks nothing like the food at cheesily decorated Tex-Mex places in China and the USA! I didn't actually eat the food, and I'm not sure what a Mexico is, but it doesn't even LOOK like Taco Bell! 0 stars!"

Not too be melodramatic, but whatever happened to critical thinking? Do people now a days believe everything they read? There are already mechanisms in place to combat errand and malicious reviews, the starting of this thread is one of them. Establishment owners can also respond to the bad reviews by posting their own reviews specifically addressing the bad review. We don't need the slippery rope of censorship and I don't think the owners of the GK would have the resources to actively manage it anyway.

Democracy is an ugly process, not nice to look at but sure cleans up well afterwards.

Cheers~
